New Baby Presents For Summer Babies

Baby sun hat - It is really important to keep baby's delicate skin out of the hot sun, so you could always buy a cute little sun hat or parasol that attaches to the buggy. For fun, why not add a pair of baby sunglasses?

Baby swimming costume - Teaching your baby swim at an early age is a great idea.  Obviously all babies will need a swimming costume at some point and there are special ones available that incorporate a special swimming nappy.

A hooded baby towel - After swimming, babies love to be wrapped up in a soft hooded baby towel.  These make fantastic presents for babies and will obviously get a lot of use.

Sun cream - Even if a baby is shielded from the sun by a parasol, it is still very important to protect a baby's skin by covering him in a high factor sun cream.

Cool baby clothes - In the hot summer months it is very important to keep babies cool as they are unable to regulate their own temperature. Why not buy short-sleeved baby grows and vests instead of T-shirts?  Cotton smocked dresses make a really beautiful present for summer babies (girls of course!)

Baby blankets - Babies still need blankets in the summer but cooler ones that will keep them cosy without making them too warm.  Choose ones that are made of cool, breathable fibres such as cotton.  A lovely baby present at this time of year is a handmade baby shawl that can be draped over the buggy to shield baby from the sunshine.

Beach toys - Babies love summer holidays and they love playing in the sand on the beach. A fun present for a new baby is a set of beach toys including an inflatable beach ball and a traditional bucket and spade so that babies and their parents can build sandcastles together.  A present that both baby and his parents can enjoy.
